Abstract
Moscow city. 1962 year. Performance by the American ballet company "New York City Ballet" at the Bolshoi Theater of the USSR. The audience is applauding. People's Artist of the USSR O. V. Lepeshinskaya in the box. Scene of the Kremlin Palace of Congresses. Fragments from the ballets "Allegro", "Symphony of the Far West", "Prodigal Son", "Waltz", "Agon", "Fanfare" and others performed by American artists. Dancing are Nicholas Magalanas, Allegra Cant, Gloria Govrin, Eduard Villel, Patricia Magbright, Arthur Mitchell and other soloists of the troupe. Artistic director of the New York City Ballet, George Balanchine, conducts a dance lesson at the choreographic school at the Bolshoi Theater, among those present US Ambassador to the USSR F. de. Kohler, American and Soviet artists. Interview with the director general of the theater Kerstein (synchronously). Evening at the House of the Actor, among those present: People's Artists of the USSR R. Simonov, S. Obraztsov, O. Lepeshinskaya, American and Soviet artists.
