Abstract
The film tells about the thoughtless acquisition of animals by people and the irresponsible attitude towards them. Estonian SSR, Tallinn. "Bird Market; sellers sell various animals: pigeons, parrots, dogs of different breeds, cats, snakes, poultry. Buyers inspect, choose animals. Districts of the city with multi-storey; wooden two-story and private houses. Glass container collection point. People walk dogs and cats on leashes. The woman lowers the dog on a leash from the balcony of the house, then lifts it back up. People keep monkeys in apartments; teddy bear; white rats; parrots. In the courtyards of private houses, dogs are kept in open-air cages; cats; goats. Homeless dogs and cats on the streets. A veterinary car for catching animals drives through the streets and courtyards of the city. Trapping stray cats and dogs; loading from into the veterinary car.
