Abstract
Russia, station "Zaseka", Yasnaya Polyana. November 8-9, 1910 - Photo by L.N. Tolstoy. A crowd of people near the Zaseka railway station. The funeral procession moves along the road to the Yasnaya Polyana estate. Local peasants in the forefront of the procession carry a banner with the inscription "Lev Nikolayevich! The memory of your good will not die among us orphaned peasants Yasn [oh] Paul [yany]!" A crowd of people near the entrance gate to the estate. The procession approaches the entrance gate. The coffin with the body of Leo Tolstoy in his arms is carried past the gate towers. Procession on the territory of the estate. Funeral wreaths on the wall of the house. Peasants with wreaths around the house. People on the porch near the house. Funeral wreaths in the yard. Poet V. Ya. Bryusov among those present in the courtyard of the house. The writer's sons Andrei, Ilya, Sergei, Mikhail Lvovich carry the coffin with Leo Tolstoy's body out of the house, everyone in the courtyard kneels down. The coffin with the body of L.N. Tolstoy is carried to the burial place. The coffin is lowered into the grave in the "Zakaz" forest. Those present kneel down.
