Abstract
Southern front. Kharkiv region, Barvenkovo, March 14, 1942 Barvenkovo streets with destroyed houses. Men are digging a snow-filled hole on the outskirts of the city with shovels. Opened pits with the bodies of civilians in Barvenkovo and surrounding villages killed by the Nazi invaders. Residents of the town of Barvenkovo and the village of Novo-Dmitrievka recognize their relatives and friends. The old collective farmer PI Babich from the Verny Shlyakh collective farm and his wife at the bodies of their two sons, Pavel and Alexander. View of the corpses of the father and daughter Rengold - 77-year-old worker of the distillery Yakov Zakharovich Rengold and Tatyana Yakovlevna. Residents of Barvenkovo and surrounding villages stand and cry over the bodies of brutally tortured civilians during a mourning meeting at a mass grave.
