Abstract
The film is dedicated to the problems of ecology of culture, which are acute in different spheres of life in Moscow. A native Muscovite, People's Artist of the RSFSR, Yakovlev Sergei Sergeevich, with his grandson, is walking along the old alleys of Moscow. They pass by the house-museum of A.M. Vasnetsov: a memorial plaque, Vasnetsov's office, an open easel with a landscape, reproductions of A.M. Vasnetsov's paintings "The Kremlin under Ivan Kalita", "The Kremlin under John III", "Zemsky Prikaz on Red Square" , paintings "Messengers in the early morning in Moscow", "Simonov Monastery", chronicle - demolish Simonov Monastery; Church of the Intercession in Fili, restorer I. V. Ilyenko; house-museum named after Lermontov; Church of the Great Ascension; Church of Fyodor Studit (Suvorov). Yakovlev's meeting with children on a Moscow street; a chronicle of the destruction of the Red Gate; demolition of houses in Moscow; various shots of the reconstruction of Moscow in the 20s - 30s: the building of the central telegraph office, the newspaper Izvestia, st.
