Abstract
A film about the commander of an aviation regiment of the Northern Fleet during the Great Patriotic War, twice Hero of the Soviet Union BV Safronov, who died in battle in 1942. The Tula village of Sinyavino, where BV Safronov was born and spent his childhood. Photos of B. V. Safronov for different years. Monument to B.V.Safronov in his native village. Steamship and steam locomotive named after B.V.Safronov. Memories of BV Safronov, his classmate and army friends (synchronously). A warship is sailing in the area of the death of BV Safronov; sailors unveil a wreath. The film uses military newsreels of 1941-1942: air battles; rewarding the pilots who took part in the liberation of Tula; BV Safronov is studying the flight route on the map (countertype).
