Abstract
The film is dedicated to the former captain of the CSKA hockey team N.M. Sologubov. The film includes: interviews (synchronously) of the coach N.G. Puchkov, the son of N.M.Sologubov - I.Sologubov, photographs of N.M.Sologubov. The film uses materials from the Russian State Archive of Film and Photo Documents, Moscow, the building of the hockey club of the CSKA Sports Society. CSKA Stadium. Saint Petersburg. Pulkovo Heights. Scenery. Memorial to the defenders of Leningrad. Chronicle footage of the period of the Great Patriotic War: the besieged Leningrad, the hostilities of the Soviet and German troops (machine gunners, infantrymen, signalmen). Chronicle footage: fragments of hockey matches with V. Bobrov, E. Babich, Kuzin, V. Brezhnev, V. Yakushev, Cherepanov, Loktev, Aleksandrov, N. Sologubov, including: the USSR-USA match in Cortina d'Ampezo ( Italy, 1956), the USSR-Sweden at the World Championship in Moscow in 1957, the USSR-USA at the 1960 Winter Olympics in Squaw Valley (USA), Dynamo-CSKA (season 1963-64). Footage: presenting N. Sologubov with an honorary prize, General V. Stalin at the Tushino airfield, in his office, a high-rise building on Vosstaniya Square in Moscow.
