Abstract
A film about the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Great Victory of the Soviet people. Newsreel: soldiers at the cannon, a wounded man is crawling. Rural landscape: three times Hero of the Soviet Union, full holder of the Order of Glory N. I. Kuznetsov in a boat on the river. Kuznetsov opens the Victory Parade on May 9, 1985. Meeting of veterans in Moscow: veterans are dancing. Veterans at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Mikhail Gorbachev, party and government members lay wreaths at the Lenin Mausoleum and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Veterans in the Kremlin Palace of Congresses. Solemn meeting. The Banner of Victory is brought in, incl. Hero of the Soviet Union S.A. Neustroev ..
