Abstract
The film is dedicated to the events of December 17-18, 1986 in Kazakhstan, in the city of Alma-Ata. The film includes stories (synchronously and behind the scenes) of eyewitnesses, direct participants in the events, leaders of the republic and law enforcement agencies, who recreate a picture of the events that took place. Newsreels included in the film convey the atmosphere of hostility and aggression from the opposing sides.
