Abstract
Visit of the Chairman of the Council of People's Commissars of Ukraine, a member of the Voronezh Front Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Leonid Romanovich Korniyets and his accompanying persons, the city of Sumy, liberated from the Nazis by units of the 38th Army under the command of Lieutenant General Nikandr Yevlampievich Chibisov. The city of Sumy was liberated on September 2, 1943 as a result of an operation planned by the commander of the 38th Army Nikandr Evlampievich Chibisov and brought to life by the soldiers of the 232nd, 340th, 167th and 38th divisions, which are part of the Voronezh Front, under by the command of G.F.
