Abstract
In the movie "Contemporary No. 16" tells about the Ulyanovsk public organization "Renaissance". The plot uses the following filming: The city of Ulyanovsk, 1990. The chairman of the Vozrozhdenie public organization, Evgeny Nikolaevich Miller, talks in his office about the appearance of Germans in Russia, about their discrimination during the war years, about the goals and objectives of the Vozrozhdenie society. Members of the society communicate with friends from Germany, exchange gifts. View of the monument to Karl Marx on the central square, opened in 1921. People at the open coffin say goodbye to the deceased on one of the streets. A view of a passing truck with a coffin, followed by a funeral procession.
