Abstract
The film “tells about the problems of a rural school, seen through the eyes of“ city ”teachers. The plot uses the following filming: Settlement Lesnoy, Kuibyshev region, 1989. A ceremonial assembly in the courtyard of an eight-year school. Children are given gifts. View of the street and houses. The inhabitants of the village are walking with wreaths. A GAZ car is carrying a coffin. The church bell is ringing. View of cows in one of the yards. The headmaster of the school, V. I. Novik, talks about the small number of students in a rural school, about the inability of city teachers to rural life, about the problems of parents in raising children (sinhr.). Biology and chemistry teacher Oleg Stanislavovich Akintsev kindles a stove in the house, teaches a lesson in the class to two students, walks barefoot in the snow with his wife and son, swims in a pond, saws wood with students in the school yard, washes clothes in the river, talks about the problems of the village, about the specifics of work in a rural school (sync.). The teacher of Russian language and literature Lyudmila Aleksandrovna Akintseva explains the material to two students, feeds the dog in the courtyard of the house, checks notebooks at home, talks about working in a rural school (sinhr.).
