Abstract
The movie includes the following plots: 1-st and 2-nd plots "May 9, Kuibyshev" tells about the celebration of the fortieth anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War in the city of Kuibyshev. The plot uses the following filming: war veterans walk the streets of Kuibyshev, children give flowers to veterans; regional committee employees lay wreaths at the eternal flame; a military orchestra is at the monument to the IL-2 attack aircraft. The third plot "Victory Day" is dedicated to the celebration of the fortieth anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War in the city of Ulyanovsk. The plot uses the following filming: a meeting of veterans on Lenin Square, a festive column is heading to Victory Square. The 4th plot "May 9. Penza" tells about the celebration of the fortieth anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War in the city of Penza. The plot uses the following filming: veterans with flowers are walking along the streets of Penza, people are laying flowers at the monument of military and labor Glory on Victory Square; residents of the city are laying a new park in honor of the fortieth anniversary of the Victory. The 5th plot "In the village of Nikolskoye" tells about the opening of a monument to the defenders of the Motherland in the village of Nikolskoye, Penza region. The plot uses the following filming: a view of one of the streets and a passing Moskvich car in the village of Nikolskoye; opening of the monument to the defenders of the Motherland; veterans and villagers bowed their heads at the Eternal Flame; view of the memorial plate with the names of the perished fellow villagers. The plot uses the following filming: veterans and residents of the city of Orenburg are present at the rally, laying flowers at the Eternal Flame. The 7th plot “Victory Day in Gorky” tells about the celebration of Victory in the city of Gorky. In the plot, the following filming was used: columns of cars pass through Minin and Pozharsky Square, war veterans pass, there is a column of home front workers, veterans lay flowers at the Eternal Flame.
