Abstract
Historical reconstruction of the events of 1925. In the village of Novaya Kalitva: recruiting villagers into the Fedorovtsy sect, a prayer house; peasant houses set on fire by the Fedorovites; sect leaders in prison, court, witnesses give testimony, weapons and other material evidence. Religious sects of "jumpers", "Baptists", "eunuchs", "flyers": sectarians are praying, preparing for Peter's Day, healers are "treating" children. Chronicle: the village of Dukhobors in the Caucasus mountains, sectarians at prayer, during religious rites, at agricultural work. Everyday life of re-educated sectarians - occupational therapy in hospitals for the mentally ill, classes for the children of former sectarians in technical and physical education circles. Former sectarians at a doctor's appointment, at a meeting of lumberjacks, at agricultural work in the field, at the construction of new houses, at the festival of the atheists. House of Culture in a former church; electrified city. A wedding in the Dukhobor sect.
