Abstract
President of the Czechoslovak Republic A. Zapotocki receives ambassadors of foreign countries in Hradcany. Congress of Women of Czechoslovakia, dedicated to childhood problems: speakers on the podium; women are sitting at festively set tables; pioneers present flowers to women. Shots of the pre-war chronicle of the struggle of the proletariat for their rights: a demonstration of workers under the red flag. The interior of one of the exhibition halls: an exhibition of books by Czech and Slovak writers. Rural landscape: fields, view of the harvested field. Agronomists are studying ears of corn in the field; a tractor driver is driving a tractor with a mower across the field. Kind of mown ears. View of Prague: city streets, parks, the Vltava river.
