Entrance exams at the Central Music School at the Moscow State Conservatory. Opening of the competition. Drawing lots. The participants of the competition talk and talk (synchronously), among them Maria Callas, Tito Gobbi, D. Oistrakh, M. Rostropovich, E. Gilels. Speakers (synchronously): P. Rutman (USA), B. Angerer (France), D. Lill (Great Britain), V. Krainev, G. Dikhterev (USA), A. Agoshton (Romania), Timothy Holly (USA), G. Kremer, E. Nesterenko, E. Obraztsova, G. Gorkusha and others. Closing of the festival in the Great Hall of the Conservatory. Alexei Kosygin is present. They say (synchronously) E. A. Furtseva, D. Shostakovich. Awarded to D.
