3rd Ukrainian Front, Austria, Vienna, May 31, 1945. Am Hof square filled with people in honor of the great Catholic Festival of the beginning of summer, banned during the years of German occupation. The procession moves to the Michael Platz square: smartly dressed children and adults, representatives of the clergy and monks. Austrian Cardinal Theodor Innitzer is at the head of the procession, leads the service at the Cathedral of St. Michael.
