Abstract
The film is dedicated to the 5th International Competition. PI Tchaikovsky in Moscow: teachers prepare their students for the competition. Moscow Conservatory teacher Viktor Karpovich Merzhanov prepares graduate student M. Olenev to perform at the competition. The teacher of the Moscow Conservatory S. Neuhaus is working with a graduate student from France B. Angerer. Arrival of the participants of the competition in Moscow. Opening of the competition in the Kremlin Palace of Congresses. Speech by the Minister of Culture E. A. Furtseva, T. N. Khrennikov. Competitive performances of pianists, violinists, cellists (among them - Ivan Monighetti), vocalists. The jury members, among them - the violinist D.F. Oistrakh. Presentation of prizes to the winners of the competition, among them: Soviet musicians Rusudan Gvasalia, Ivan Ponomarenko, Lyudmila Sergienko, Silvia Shash from Hungary, Eugene Fodor from the USA and others.
