Abstract
The film tells about the life and work of the writer DI Fonvizin. Used engravings, drawings and other graphic materials from the funds of the State Literary Museum, the A.A. Bakhrushin Theater Museum and the State Theater Library. Among the engravings included in the film: depiction of the coat of arms of the Fonvizin family; portraits of DI Fonvizin, Empress Elizabeth Petrovna, MV Lomonosov, Empress Elizabeth II, Emperor Paul I, actors FG Volkov, IADmitrevsky, YD Shumsky and other figures of state and culture; views of Moscow and St. Petersburg of the 18th century; depictions of historical events of the 18th century.
