Abstract
Leningrad region., Gatchina (former Krasnogvardeysk), January 1944 Views of the city after its liberation from the German occupation. Destroyed buildings of the Gatchina railway station. Burning buildings in the city. Gatchina Palace with traces of fire and destruction on the walls and windows. Local residents meet fighters on the streets of the city. The soldiers walk past a post hung with signs in German; a killed Nazi lies near the pillar. A group of townspeople reading the newspaper "Pravda" in front of the German commandant's office. The territory of the concentration camp "Dulag - 154", surrounded by several rows of barbed wire. At the entrance there is a sign with the inscription: "Penalty POW Camp Dulag - 154" (in Russian and German). Soldiers and officers of the Red Army visiting the German bunker.
