Abstract
2nd Belorussian Front. Poland, city of Graudenz, March, 1945 Soviet ground attack aircraft in the sky over the city. The commander of the aviation regiment, Major General, Hero of the Soviet Union Semyon Grigorievich Hetman, by radio communication, commands the planes storming the city. Artillerymen, mortars, machine gunners are fighting out of town. Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Pyotr Ivanovich Kokorev speaks on the phone at the observation post. The commander of the 37th Guards Rifle Division, Major General Sabir Umarovich Rakhimov, at an observation post in one of the forts. The front-line operator [Leonid Tikhonovich Kotlyarenko] is filming. View of the bridge over the Vistula blown up by the Germans. Assembly of pontoons for the new bridge by Soviet soldiers. Captured German soldiers are taken out of the fortress. Pilots, Heroes of the Soviet Union Grigory Lavrentyevich Svetlichny and Alexander Nikolaevich Efimov after the bombing of the city and the Graudenz fortress.
