Abstract
The film tells about the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Jawaharlal Nehru. The film includes the following filming: the work of the sculptor D. Ryabichev on the monument to J. Ostrovsky in Moscow, a debate in the museum on the topic "Jawaharlal Nehru - Independent India and the Soviet Union ", speeches of participants in the dispute (sinhr.), views of Delhi - the capital of India, a meeting of the Presidium of the Union of Soviet Societies for Friendship and Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, an exhibition of Soviet artists dedicated to India, a general view of the meeting dedicated to the 100th anniversary J. Nehru, views of Calcutta, meeting in the cultural center of the Indo-Soviet friendship of Bengal, views of Moscow, a meeting of scientists from the Institute of Oriental Studies, an exhibition at Moscow State University.
