Abstract
Hall of the Palace of Physical Education and Sports in Budapest, filled with congress delegates. The congress is opened by Lajos Ligeti, Vice-President of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. The Chairman of the Hungarian Peace Council Academician Erzhebet Andic is making a report. In the debate on the report, delegates speak: collective farmers, workers, a Catholic priest, Miklos Berestotsi, chairman of the committee of peace supporters of the clergy of the Catholic Church; representatives of the Hungarian intelligentsia: composer Zoltan Kodal, sculptor Zsigmond Kishfaludi Strobl, writer Peter Veresh; representatives of foreign countries; the DPRK's envoy to Hungary, Han Hugh San, a member of the Italian Peace Committee, Carlo Rossi; Yugoslav revolutionary emigrant in Hungary, journalist Boris Verstovshek and others. Greetings from the congress to JV Stalin are read by the laureate of the Stalin Prize and the Kossuth Prize, writer Sandor Nagy. The delegates are applauding.
