The film tells about the playwright M. Ugarov, who created the documentary theater. The film uses the following filming: M. Ugarov talks with artist V. Skvortsov (sinhr.): V. Skvortsov asks him questions, and M. Ugarov, in turn, talks about how the idea of creating a documentary theater was born, as well as about his plays incl. and about the project "Biography Forward"; M. Ugarov and V. Skvortsov go down the stairs; artists O. Lapshina and A. Smola, who are involved in M. Ugarov's projects, recite texts from M. Ugarov's plays (sinhr.); M. Ugarov with his family members and actors on the roof, talks about his family (sinhr.); people are walking down the street, homeless people.
