A column of soldiers with rifles is walking along the streets of revolutionary Petrograd; rally in the square. Soldiers and sailors are loading weapons into carriages. A poster with the inscription: "With your chest to defend Petrograd." Latvian riflemen on the fronts of the Imperialist War; in Moscow, during the V All-Russian Congress of Soviets, they guard the building of the Bolshoi Theater (July 4, 1918).
