Abstract
A film-story about the cook of a team of lumberjacks working on the construction of the Baikal-Amur Mainline (BAM), Nina Filatova. Signboard "Tavern" Quiet pool "above the hut in the taiga, in which N. Filatova cooks food and dine lumberjacks. N. Filatova collects snow in a bucket, peels potatoes, distributes food to the builders, talks to a reporter.
