Abstract
The film tells about the heroes of the Great Patriotic War, about the places where the battles took place. The film uses footage of the chronicle of the Great Patriotic War: hostilities, assistance to the rear of the front: work at defense enterprises, in agriculture, driving cattle from the republics of Central Asia and Kazakhstan to the economies of Ukraine, Belarus, Russia ruined by the Nazis; the return of soldiers from the front. Life of rural residents in the post-war period. Construction of new houses in villages and towns. Moving new settlers to new houses. Land cultivation on collective farms, grain harvesting. Drought in Moldova. Spring landscapes.
