Abstract
Minister of Culture of the USSR E. A. Furtseva, composer T. N. Khrennikov speak at a meeting in the Great Hall of the Conservatory dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Conservatory. The first secretary of the Moscow City Committee of the CPSU N. G. Egorychev attaches the Order of Lenin to the banner of the conservatory, congratulates the director of the conservatory - A. V. Sveshnikov. The pioneers are giving a greeting. The ensemble of the Moscow Palace of Pioneers under the direction of V. Loktev is performing. Participants of the meeting: D. B. Kabalevsky, P. Serebryakov, Ya. V. Flier, L. Kogan, D. Oistrakh, A. Nasedkin, L.N. Oborin, head of the orchestra of the Moscow Conservatory M. Terian and others. Participants of the meeting - A. P. Zueva, K. N. Elanskaya, M. I. Tsarev, other artists congratulate A. V. Sveshnikov, give him gifts. Participants in the meeting in the foyer are looking at photographs on the stands. Professor Y. Yankelevich is engaged with a student at an open demonstration lesson in playing the violin. Professor V. Dulova leads an open demonstration lesson: she shows the student how to properly hold her hands on the harp.
