Maxim Gorky on the Island of Capri

The film was shot between January and February 1911 (the time of A.M. Gorky's residence on the island of Capri). A sailor, an elderly man, a constant companion of A.M. Gorky on the island, stands in the street, smoking a pipe. View of the villa where A. M. Gorky lived. A man and a woman are dancing "Tarantella". A. M. Gorky, not wanting to act in films, leaves the building covering his face with a hat.
