Abstract
Gathering workers for the May Day demonstration. Participants of amateur performances are dancing. Columns of workers of the Bolshevik plant are passing by; the plant named after Stalin, "Krasny Vyborzhets", the plant named after K. Marx, the Kirov machine-building plant. Troops lined up for the parade in Uritsky Square. AA Zhdanov from the rostrum welcomes the Leningraders. Commander of the Leningrad Military District, Lieutenant General Popov takes the parade, speaks from the rostrum. Solemn march of troops. Artillery, armored vehicles, anti-aircraft guns, air defense units, tanks are passing by. Members of the government on the podium. Columns of demonstrators enter the square: students of vocational schools, workers of the Krasny Vyborzhets plant, the Zhdanov plant, the Russian Diesel plant.
