- Abstract
- A rally of supporters of the Russian Popular Front at the Latvian embassy in Moscow in support of the commander of the Riga OMON S. Parfenov, who was leading the storming of the Latvian Interior Ministry building in January 1991. People carry posters and slogans expressing no confidence in the government of Boris N. Yeltsin; the inscriptions are visible: "Freedom to political prisoners of the Baltic states", "Landsbergis and the prosecutor Stepankov behind bars!" Participants of the rally are collecting funds to support S. Parfenov.
