Opening ceremony at the Kremlin Palace of Congresses of the VI Moscow International Film Festival. G. V. Romanov speaking. Spectators in the cinema "Russia" watching the competitive festival films. Fragments from films: "Winter Morning", "Lucia", "Serafino", "We'll Live Until Monday." Hotel "Russia", which hosts the participants and guests of the festival. Visits by the participants of the film festival to film studios: TSSDF, "Mosfilm"; acquaintance with the sights of the cities of Moscow, Leningrad. Interviews with Soviet and foreign filmmakers; speaking (synchronously): S. Rostotsky, K. Lidzani (Italy), T. Iman (Japan), U. Solas (Cuba), K. Widor (USA), E. Geshonek (GDR), D.
