Abstract
The film tells about one of the villages of the Novosibirsk region during the perestroika period. The hero of the film, an agricultural scientist, goes to his native village to help his fellow countrymen change their lives. But he meets anger and indifference. It turns out that they do not live at all as he expected. This film is about how a person has become far removed from his native places, from reality. In the finale, the hero sits alone on the stage of a local club. The fellow countrymen did not come to his meeting. 1 part.
