Abstract
The film is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Victory over Nazi Germany. Laying wreaths at the graves of the Unknown Soldiers, at the memorial cemeteries, at the monuments to the soldiers who died in the war. Meetings of veterans of the Great Patriotic War and World War II. Former captain of the destroyer "Thundering" B.D. Nikolaev accepts the report of the captain of the new destroyer with the same name, greets the crew. Soviet war veterans visit European cities, in the liberation of which they took part. V. Gorelov in cities: Neunbrandburg, Grundziadz (GDR); V. Preladov's meeting with former Italian partisans in the city of Monte Fiorino, their visits to places of former battles. A member of the French Resistance Movement, Azerbaijanian A. Jebrailov, is on an airplane, flying to a meeting with French fellow soldiers.
