Abstract
3rd Belorussian Front, Germany, Pillau, April, 1945. View of the Baltic Sea (filmed from an airplane). The radio operator on duty, foreman Zavadskaya, transmits a radiogram to the bomber department. Marine tankettes with camouflaged cargo descend into the sea. Artillery fighting. Aircraft "IL-2" in the air. Major General of Aviation, Hero of the Soviet Union Stepan Dmitrievich Prutkov and Aviation Colonel [Grigory Prokofievich Pokoevoy] at the airfield. A group of Red Navy men during a vacation on the seashore. The Red Navy man plays the trophy harmonium, which the Germans abandoned on the shore during their retreat. Columns of prisoners. Guard corporal Joseph Yanovsky hoisting the Red Flag over the defeated Pillau fortress.
