Abstract
The film tells about the 1990 Soviet-British expedition to the North Pole, consisting of three people: R. Feinnes, M. Straut and D. Shparo. The film includes the following filming: views of London, R. Finnes, M. Straut and D. Shparo in the British Geographical Society, the flight of the members of the expedition to the Northern Land, the members of the expedition on the hike, members of the expedition on the hike to the North Pole, the end of the trip and meeting members of the expedition, interviews with the members of the expedition before and after the trip (sinhr.). The film includes footage of the chronicle of 1912, depicting Scott's expedition to the South Pole.
