Abstract
View of the city of Rio de Janeiro. The building of the first Soviet trade and industrial exhibition in Brazil. Opening ceremony of the exhibition: Minister of Foreign Trade of the USSR NS Patolichev, other officials delivering welcoming speeches. Visitors examine the exhibits in the pavilions dedicated to Soviet science, space, and the electrification of the country. Type of exhibits: models of an oil derrick, turbodrill, machine tool parts; stands with fabrics in the light industry pavilion, various models of clothing, televisions, clocks, agricultural machines, cars. Brazilian President J. Goulart and other officials visiting the exhibition. The signing of the protocol on trade between the USSR and Brazil at the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs: representatives of the parties sign documents. NS Patolichev and Brazilian Foreign Minister S. Dantas sign documents.
