Abstract
The film tells about one of the independent Arab states - the Kingdom of Yemen, located on the Arabian Peninsula by the Red Sea. The nature of the country with its sultry deserts, steppes, tropical vegetation, blooming mountainous Jebel region is shown, the cities of Yemen are shown - the capital of Sana'a, the city of Taiz, which houses the residence of King Ahmed, the seaport of Hodeidah, the city of Mokka, Ibb, the ruins of ancient Mareb. A number of episodes of the film are devoted to showing the birth of the country's first large industrial enterprise - a weaving factory built in Badjil, and the development of its agriculture. Filmed buildings of Yemeni farmers. Several frames tell about a big event in the political life of the country - the accession of Yemen in the form of a Federal Union to the UAR. Meeting. A.
