Abstract
The film includes the following filming: a view of the temple of St. Ilya of Muromets on the territory of the General Staff of the Strategic Missile Forces, the rector of the temple, Fr. Mikhail (Vasiliev) tells about the holy warrior Ilya Muromets (sync. And off-screen), believers, including soldiers, officers, children with a teacher, in the church during the service; rocket warriors pass in formation, demonstrate power combat techniques and other combat skills. The film includes newsreel footage of the Patriotic War: balloons over Moscow, people sleeping at the Mayakovskaya metro station, sending soldiers to the front, G.K. Zhukov over the Moscow defense map, the offensive of Soviet troops, the capture of German soldiers. The film uses newsreel footage of the 1970s, depicting the cave of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra and the relics of St. Reverend Ilya of Muromets.
