Abstract
The film tells about the memorial complex to the heroic defenders of Leningrad, dedicated to the feat of the townspeople in the tragic days of the siege of 1941-1944. Leningrad. View of the Peter and Paul Fortress from the Neva River. The cruiser Aurora stands on the river near the building of the Nakhimov Naval School. Monument to the heroic defenders of Leningrad on Victory Square (built in 1975; architects S. B. Speransky, V. A. Kamensky, sk. M. K. Anikushin): sculptural group "Winners" at the base of the granite obelisk with the NDP: " 1941-1945 "; the multi-figured sculptural composition of the memorial complex; memorial hall "Blockade"; sculptural group "Blockade"; memorial marble plaque with the names of the Heroes of the Soviet Union; mosaic panels "1941 - Blockade", "Victory" (authors SN Repin, IG Uralov, NP Fomin). Exhibits of the memorial complex: bronze books "Chronicle of the heroic days of the siege"; bread card for December 1941; a piece of bread, three weights next to it; wooden cutting board with NDP: "1941 WINTER HUNGER ON THIS BOARD WE CUT BREAD"; homemade smokehouse and stove; war shells; medal "For the Defense of Leningrad"; burnt Komsomol ticket; loudspeaker with NDP on the plate: “PLANT IM. KALININA "; violin with a bow, a plaque with the NDP: "THE SEVENTH SYMPHONY OF DMITRY SHOSTAKOVICH". Schoolchildren with a guide inspect the exhibits in the memorial hall "Blockade"; pioneers with flowers stand on the territory of the memorial; give fireworks to the sculptural group "Blockade".
