Abstract
A film about the life and work of the Chilean poet, public figure, Nobel Prize laureate P. Neruda, which includes photographs of the poet over the years and memories of P. Neruda of the Spanish communist K. Sanchez, researcher of Neruda L. Ospovat's creativity, Doctor of Philology, the first translator P. Neruda V. Kuteishchikova, translator P. Glushko and poetess M. Aliger (synchronously). The film contains newsreel footage taken during the life of P. Neruda. Among them - honoring the poet at the National stadium in Santiago, film director R. Carmen and writer K. Simonov visiting P. Neruda, P. Neruda at home. Verses by P. Neruda are played off-screen.
