Abstract
The film is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the October Revolution. The use of newsreels of the 1st World War, the Civil War in Russia, the Great Patriotic War, newsreels of the 1930s in the film makes it possible to trace the history of the formation of Soviet power in Georgia, the formation of the Georgian Republic within the USSR, collectivization; production of weapons, military equipment in Georgia during the war. Industrial enterprises of Georgia: metallurgical plant in Rustavi, oil fields, Chiatura manganese deposit, electric locomotive plant named after Lenin, Kutaisi automobile plant. Collecting tea leaves on tea plantations; Heroes of Socialist Labor, machinist Valerian Germanovich Menuargia, Tamara Andreevna Kupunia. Fruit harvesting. View of a livestock farm. Cows in the pasture. Sights of Batumi, Sukhumi, Tbilisi. Sanatoriums, boarding houses in the city of Gagra, Pitsunda. Speech by E. A.
