Moscow city. The Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts. Closing of the exhibition of paintings from the Dresden Gallery, transferred by the Soviet government to the government delegation of the GDR. Pictures transferred to the GDR: "Sistine Madonna" by S. Raphael, "Glory crowning the hero" by P. P. Rubens, "St. Inessa" by H. Ribera, "Portrait of a Man in Black" by A. Van Dyck, "Self-portrait with Saskia on her knees "H. Rembrandt," The Sleeping Venus "by Giorgione," Portrait of a Young Man "by A. Durer and others. Speakers: Deputy Minister of Culture of the USSR S. V. Kaftanov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the GDR L. Boltz. S. V. Kaftanov, L. Boltz and other representatives sign acts of transfer and acceptance of paintings.
