Abstract
Landscape of snowy taiga in Eastern Siberia. A type of hut "dzhute" - the dwellings of the Tungus. The indigenous population of Eastern Siberia - the Tungus - are engaged in household work: they build a hut "dzhute"; prepare food; sew high fur boots; hunt for squirrels; herding reindeer; exchange furs for food and weapons supplies. Women and children are sitting in a hut around the fire, playing a homemade lip instrument. Tungus boy chews sulfur; another boy carries firewood.
