Abstract
Vladivostok, August 17, 1941 Unloading metal and cotton from the United States at the seaport of Vladivostok. The mechanic on the ship presses the crane levers. Cotton bales are laid out next to the conveyor belt. Workers transfer the bags to the belt. The crane arm transfers the bags from the deck onto a transport belt. Laying bales of cotton on the conveyor. Workers take metal ingots from the belt and load them into a freight car. Ingots of metal with the inscription "THE STRAITS TRADING Co LTD" move along the belt. Bundles of metal ingots are transported by a cable from the ship to the berth. Workers install a bundle of ingots on the conveyor. Employees of the Vladivostok port are checking bags of cotton, making notes in the book. A woman is counting bars stacked on the dock.
