Abstract
Newsreel. Guns are shooting, Katyusha volleys, bombs are falling. The gun crew is fighting. Battlefield, tanks are passing, infantry attack. Street fight; buildings are on fire; soldiers run down the street. A group of soldiers is running with a banner. Soldiers hoisting the Victory Banner over the Reichstag (May 2, 1945). Victory Parade on Red Square on June 24, 1945. Soviet soldiers throw the battle banners of the defeated fascist Wehrmacht at the foot of the Lenin Mausoleum. Monument to the Soviet soldier-liberator in Treptower Park in Berlin. A festive demonstration on Red Square to mark the 15th anniversary of the Victory Day over Nazi Germany. Speech by athletes at the stadium (the word "peace" is read).
