Abstract
Congo. M'Pilla village on the banks of the Congo River; village square, villagers' huts. The villagers are engaged in daily household work: cooking, mending fishing nets, working in the garden, washing clothes in the river; fishermen swim in boats to the shore with a catch of fish. The fishermen's wives take the fish. Fishermen on the banks of the river under the awning. The musicians play the horn, the tam-tam. Men and women dance the Congolese dance.
