Abstract
Austria, Vienna; streets, embankments, squares, passers-by, city transport. Monument to a Soviet soldier in one of the squares. Burials and monuments at the Vienna cemetery to Soviet soldiers who died in the battles for the liberation of Austria. Newsreel: Soviet soldiers are fighting on the streets of Vienna. Tanks are driving through the city; the fascist swastika falls. Soviet troops pass through the streets of liberated Vienna. The people welcomed the passing soldiers. The territory of the former concentration camp at Mauthausen (near Vienna). Former crematoria, quarries; a fence braided with barbed wire. Newsreel: prisoners in a concentration camp.
