Abstract
A film about the drifting polar station "North Pole". Arctic. Landscapes. Aircraft of polar aviation at the airfield (landing site), in the air, at a gas station. Cabin. The crew of the aircraft in the cockpit. Pilot at the helm, navigator over the maps, radio operator. Landing of the aircraft on the territory of the "North Pole" station. Station staff illuminate the landing strip with torches. Polar explorers at work, charging, during leisure hours. Blizzard. Crack of an ice floe. Polar explorers evacuate equipment, put up tents, build a house of ice bricks in a new place. Bath. Station employees wash themselves.
