Abstract
The film tells about the life of an elderly married couple in one of the rural settlements of the Kuibyshev region. The following shooting was used in the film: Kuibyshev region, 1979. An elderly man works at a sewing machine, smokes by the stove, shaves at the table by the mirror, listens to the radio; his wife is sitting at a hand spinning wheel. View of an elderly couple's room: homespun rugs made of multi-colored threads on the floor; bedspread and pillowcases with hand embroidery on the bed; crocheted tablecloth on a round table; cupboard, radio. Elderly people communicate with their daughter and grandchildren who have come to visit. The granddaughter tries on a sheepskin coat made by her grandfather. The grandson plays the guitar and sings. The daughter is cooking in the kitchen. View of the set table in the room. An elderly man and a guy are playing balalaikas, women are singing. People walk along a snow-covered rural road. The boy is skating - "Snow Maidens".
